Whistle Solutions (trading as Whistle Booking, KvK 94796882) explains here what personal data we use and why. Questions: support@whistlebooking.nl.
1. Businesses that use Whistle Booking
For your account we keep your name, email address, business details, team members' names and sign-in details, and payment details for your subscription. We use them to provide the service, bill you and contact you about your account.
We keep them while you have an account, and up to 7 years for invoices because tax law requires it.
2. Clients of those businesses
When you book with a business that uses Whistle Booking, that business decides what happens with your data. We store and process it for them under a processing agreement. Please read the privacy statement on their booking page, and contact them for questions.
3. Visitors to this website
When you send a message with the contact form, we use your name, email address and message to reply, and keep them for up to one year.
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We only use cookies that are needed to sign in and keep you signed in.
4. Who else processes data
Cloudflare (hosting and storage, in the EU), Resend (sending email, EU region) and Mollie (payments, the Netherlands). We have agreements with them and they may only use the data to provide their service to us. We never sell personal data.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, stored in the European Union and only accessible to people who need it. We make daily backups. If a data breach happens, we inform those affected and the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) when the law requires it.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email support@whistlebooking.nl and we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
